Power Vessel Operators

Captain McLea is certified by the Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) as a power vessel instructor. Classes are available for groups or families up to a maximum of four to a class or individual private instruction. Some of the subjects covered are Navigation, Seamanship, Bouyage System, Safety and Hands On instruction in docking a passage planning. Successful completion will receive CYA certification.

Training is conducted during the spring, summer and fall as there is a Hands On element.

Captain McLea has over twenty years experience in the commercial marine industry and offers specialized training in marine related Health Safety and Environmental training. This training can be customized for your specific operation and needs.

Marine Security

Our most popular program is “Security Awareness Training” This program is designed to provide a heightened awareness of your surroundings in a industrial environment. The training encourages you to question what you see and hear as it relates to security of your facility.
